Linktree alternative for events Replace Linktree for events.
A shareable page that actually sells tickets.
For creators and organizers using a link-in-bio for event promotion
Today, in four tabs
Not everyone runs all four. Whichever of them you do run, the event details get copied between them by hand, because none of them was built for events.
After
- A public page for every event, and a calendar of all of them Free
- Free RSVP with a capacity limit per date Free
- A QR code on every ticket, scanned at the door Free
- Tickets that carry a price, and the live check-in dashboard Pro
- Newsletters to the people who follow your schedule Free
The gaps
Where Linktree limits you for events
Linktree was not built for event management. These are the places the event part has to be done somewhere else.
- Just a list of links with no event context or details
- No built-in ticketing, RSVPs, or payments
- Must update links manually as events change
- No calendar view or schedule functionality
None of that is a fault in Linktree. It is a general-purpose tool being asked to run an event, which is why the rest of the job ends up in other tabs.
Done natively
What Getvnt gives you over Linktree
The same work, in the tool that already knows what an event is.
Public Schedule Page
Share one URL that shows all your upcoming events with full details, dates, and ticket links. Better than a link list.
Inline Ticket Sales
Visitors buy tickets on your own pages and pay through Stripe or PayPal, with zero platform fees. No detour to a separate ticketing site.
Auto-updating Events
Your schedule page updates automatically when you add or change events. No manual link management.
Subscriber Signups
Visitors sign up with a name and email and, once confirmed, get a digest when you publish new events. Anyone who would rather not give an email can subscribe to your calendar feed instead.
A Short Link for Every Link
Each social or website link on your schedule answers at a short address on your own URL, like /instagram, or the brand name for any other site. Clicks on them are counted in your analytics, free.
Custom Branding
Your name, logo and colors on every plan; remove Getvnt branding on Pro, and put the page on your own domain on Enterprise. A professional event hub, not just a link list.
The swap sheet
Linktree vs Getvnt
Line by line, on the event work. A dash in the Linktree column means that job is not built in, so today it is living in another tab. A tick in the Getvnt column does not mean free: the three cards below say which plan carries what.
From 0 NGN/mo (Pro 5 NGN/mo)
| Feature | Linktree | Getvnt |

| Event details on page | Links only | Full event info |
| Ticket sales | Not built in | Zero platform fees |
| Auto-updating events | Manual link updates | Automatic |
| Subscriber signups | Not built in | Yes |

| Link click counts | Yes | Free, per link |
Free
0 NGNUnlimited events and schedules. Public event pages and a shareable calendar. Two-way Google, Outlook and CalDAV sync. Free RSVP with a capacity limit and no monthly ceiling, scanned at the door. Event graphics, embeddable calendar, built-in analytics, AI event parsing, and 10 newsletter emails a month, each recipient counting as one.
Pro
5 NGN a monthTickets that carry a price, and the live check-in dashboard. Custom fields on the form, ticket waitlist, promo codes, sales export. The embeddable ticket widget, the REST API and webhooks. 100 newsletter emails a month.
Enterprise
15 NGN a monthYour own domain. Up to five team members. Internal and unlisted events. AI flyer and style generation, AI agenda scanning, WhatsApp event creation, and 1,000 newsletter emails a month.
Two footnotes worth reading before you switch. Your follower list is never capped, but the monthly newsletter allowance counts recipients rather than sends, so one letter to 40 followers spends 40 of it; the automatic digest of new events that confirmed subscribers get does not count against it. And Free is a single team member; extra members are Enterprise. What does not change with the plan is the fee on ticket sales, which is zero on all three. Charging for a ticket is Pro, and it brings every way to get paid with it: Stripe, PayPal, Payfast for rand, Invoice Ninja, a payment link or cash. Past the processor's own fee, the money is yours, and a Stripe or PayPal sale can be refunded from the Sales page in full or in part.

About Linktree
Linktree is a link-in-bio tool that event organizers use to share multiple event links from a single URL. While it solves the "one link" problem on social media, it is just a list of links with no event context, ticketing, or scheduling functionality.
What it is good at
- Simple setup for sharing multiple links from one URL
- Widely recognized link-in-bio format
- Basic analytics on link clicks
Why switch to Getvnt?
Linktree gives you a list of links. Getvnt gives you a full event hub with ticket sales, subscriber signups, and auto-updating event details.
What moves across
- A schedule page with event details, not just a list of URLs
- Ticket sales on your own pages, paid through Stripe or PayPal
- Events update automatically so your link in bio is always current
- Short addresses for your other links, with clicks counted
- Subscriber signups and newsletters to build your audience
Linktree to Getvnt FAQ
What people ask before they move the event work across.
Is Getvnt a good Linktree alternative for event promotion?
Yes. Linktree is a list of links. Getvnt gives you a full schedule page with event details, dates, ticket purchasing, and subscriber signups. Your audience sees a rich event experience, not just a link directory.
Does Getvnt have a free plan?
Yes. The free plan includes unlimited events, a public schedule page, Google Calendar sync, newsletters, and embeddable widgets. Free registration is unlimited and every ticket scans at the door at no cost; selling paid tickets is on Pro at 5 NGN/month, which also adds the live check-in dashboard.
Can I use Getvnt as my link in bio?
Yes. Your schedule page URL works as a link in bio. It shows all your upcoming events with full details and ticket links, updating automatically as you add or change events. No manual link management needed.
Does the schedule page work with Instagram and TikTok?
Yes. Your Getvnt URL works as a link in bio on any social platform including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X. It shows all your upcoming events with full details and ticket links, updating automatically as you add events.
Can visitors subscribe to my events from the schedule page?
Yes. The sign-up panel on your schedule page asks for a name and email; once they confirm, subscribers get a digest of the new events your schedule creates, at most one every 72 hours, and confirming also sets them up with an account that follows you. Anyone who would rather not give an email can subscribe to your calendar feed instead, which updates itself when dates change. You can write newsletters to them yourself too.
What happens to my other links, like Instagram or my website?
Add them to your schedule and each one gets a short address on your own URL: /instagram for Instagram and other recognized sites, or the brand name for anything else, so your-name.getvnt.com/instagram opens your Instagram. Clicks on those addresses are counted in your analytics, free on every plan, so you can see which links people actually use.
